Dr. Mathew Hirsch is a Senior Associate at Short Hills Associates. He provides cognitive behavioral and gestalt oriented psychotherapy to children, adolescents and families. He earned his undergraduate degree at University of California, Santa Barbara and his doctoral degree at Pacific University, School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Hirsch completed his internship training in the Department of Psychiatry at Woodhull Medical Center/NYU Langone Medical Center and completed his post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Pediatrics at Bellevue Hospital/NYU. He has provided clinical services in a variety of settings and currently his work focuses on anxiety and mood issues in children and teens as well as fostering healthy parent-child relationships. He conducts individual, family, parenting, and group treatment and is the director of Short Hills Associates' teenage group therapy program, TAG.
